The Jordan Ultimate Frisbee Team played their first game Thursday, September 12, where they lost to Chapel Hill Ultimate Frisbee (CHUF) 10-13. The game was a back and forth affair with both teams holding the lead at different points. After a rough first half, Jordan pulled ahead at the beginning of the second half. This lead did not last, as the Dirty Birds quickly let up four unanswered scores from CHUF. Despite the loss, Jordan still had standout performances from Max Shearer and Connor Winstead. Max celebrated his birthday with 3 scores and some highlight defensive plays. Not to be outdone, Connor put up 3 points of his own and had a standout defensive game. Jordan Ultimate has their next game Thursday, October 3, where they look to improve and bring home a win.
