Jordan’s fall production, Clue, was a booming success. The play was enjoyed by the audience, receiving many laughs all three nights it was onstage. Clue is a murder mystery where six guests are given aliases and invited to a dinner party, where they realize they are all being blackmailed by a mysterious man. The drama starts when the host is killed, and the guests are left to figure out who did it as a series of murders occurs by an unknown killer…
The cast had several weeks of after school rehearsal leading up to the show, allowing them to be well-prepared by opening night on Thursday, November 21st. Besides minor mistakes, including issues with the microphones and other small tech problems, the show went smoothly. The set was unique, an intricate mansion with five rooms that slid onstage.
Danica Laan, the senior who played Yvette, and Edmund Pattishall, the junior who played Wadsworth, are both experienced Jordan actors whose performances were as entertaining as expected. Sophomore Gabe Campos played Mr. Green, and although it was his debut on the Jordan stage, he was a crowd favorite, keeping the audience engaged with his comedic timing.
Students and other audience members enjoyed the show. “Seeing Clue was the highlight of my week,” said Olivia Ko, a Jordan sophomore. “The twist at the end was so surprising and fun and executed wonderfully!”
Jordan students who enjoyed Clue should stay tuned for the musical Big Fish, which will be onstage the last two weekends in March.
